WELCOME TO THE 10th SEASON OF THE PFLU.

2018 marks our 10th season of the Premier Football League University.

The cost of the league is 130 points and will be due no later than September 14th, 2018.

We are duplicating the PFLPro and hope to have as many games and the same prizes within a very short time (check out the PFLPro Rules, Games and Prizes.)

We have divided this page into 2 different categories: 1) Rule changes, 2) Games and Prizes.

Rule Changes for 2017

1). This season all points are due by September 14th. The cost for this season is 130 points for all players.

2). There will be no ties for the PFLU Championship. In case of a tie of 2 or more players for the top 4 spots at the end of the bowl games, the first tie breaker will be: 1) Overall season winning percentage, if there is still a tie the second tie breaker will be 2) Regular season winning percentage, 3) Most playoff wins 4) Finally, the last tie-breakers will be the best score for the last regular season week, week 15 if tied, 14 if tied, 13...

Games and PRIZES

(All prizes are based on 30 Players)

(17) Weekly prizes. The player each week with the highest score will receive 120 points. (120 x 17weeks = 2,040 points) All games will include the point spreads and a lock and upset pick (each worth 2 points) Read rules on locks and upset below. Each week will be worth a total of 18 points. There will be no tiebreaker for the weekly prize; if there is more than one winner, they will share the prize equally. The weekly contest will also include the 3 weeks of the college bowl games.

(4) Total Prize Points. The top 4 finishers for the season will split 1000 points.

500 points for 1st place, 250 points for 2nd place, 150 points for 3rd place, 100 for 4th place and 5th place will receive a handshake.

(1) Perfekt Week: If any player during the season (including the first 2 weeks of bowl games) pick all the games correctly using the point spread, that player will win the perfekt score jackpot. We had a carry over from last season, so the winner for this season would win 250 points. There is no limit to how much this game could grow; PFLPro is up to 2,000 points). When we have a winner, we will start all over again the next season.

(3) Survivor: All players are included in all the survivor contests throughout the season, the pay out for this game will be 70 points for each contest. In week #1 you will pick one team that you are absolutely, positively without a doubt can not lose (on an average 50% of all players lose each week) If your pick wins that week, you will advance to week #2, if you lose, you will be out until the next contest starts. The remaining players will continue week after week until we have a sole survivor, if 2 or more players lose in the last week of the contest, the jackpot will be shared equally. You will notice there is a box just below all the regular season games on the piksheet where you can pick your survivor. This game is played against the point spread and you may pick any team as many times as you want throughout each contest.

(3) Locks, Upsets and Total Locks and Upsets: For the player who leads the league in each one of these categories, the prize will be worth 70 points each for a total of 210 points. (The most locks, the most upsets and the combined locks and upsets). Each week besides picking the College games you will need to pick (1) Lock of the week and (1) Upset of the week. A lock can be a team that is a favorite or an underdog team. You would mark this on the piksheet by giving that pick 2 points. An upset can only be an underdog (no other options) you would mark this game also with 2 points on the piksheet. If your best pick of the week is an underdog, you could make that your Upset of the week and your Lock of the week and you would mark that on the piksheet with 3 points (all other picks must be worth just 1 point). Each week there will be a total of 18 total points. You must include your lock and upset in the comments box at the bottom of the piksheet. The reason is if you pick 2 upsets one week, there would be no way to tell which is your lock and which is your upset. You will not receive any credit for correct picks if you fail to list your lock and upset in the comments box.

(1) Margin of Victory: (referred as MOV) Each week you are responsible for selecting one team, you will find this game where you make the selections on the weekly piksheet . You can choose any team on the schedule and you may pick a team more than once during the season. There is no point spreads used for this game (the only game in the PFLU that does not use a point spread). The way the game is played, if the team you picked wins, you will receive points based on how many points your team wins by that week. For example, if you picked Florida State this week and they won by 20 points you would receive 20 points for that week. We keep a running score for the entire season. If you pick a team that loses that week, we would subtract the amount that they lost by from your total. The player who ends the regular season with the most points will win 70 points.

(1) Bowl games: The player who ends up with the most points during the bowl games only (weeks 15-16-17) will win 70 points.

(1) Regular Season Champion: The player with the highest score at the end of the regular season will win 70 points.

(1) High 5: This new game runs during the regular season and first 2 weeks of the bowl games. Each week you will pick exactly 5 teams against the spread. For each correct pick you will receive 1 point. The player with the highest score at the end of the regular season will win 70 points.
