Pool Displays > Exoctic Pools > Margin PoolA Margin Pool is similar to a Survivor Pool in some ways. With a Margin Pool, you only have a one-time pool fee, and you pick one team each week. Once a pool member picks a team, he cannot pick that team again. If his team wins, the winning margin, or margin of victory is added to his season point total. If his team loses, then the winning margin is subtracted from his season point total. The pool member that has the most points at the end of the season is the winner. Usually total wins are used as a tiebreaker.
A Margin Pool is different from a Survivor Pool in that in a Margin Pool, you play the entire season, you are not eliminated with a loss. I believe a Margin Pool to be just as much fun, if not more so than a Survivor Pool. It is a type of pool that you are never really out of it until the end. You could be in first place, and wham, your team loses by 28 points, and another player's team wins by 35 points. It can be a wild season, with leader changes almost every week.
