WEEK IN THE U.

The PFLU officially kicked
off our 11th
season of college football this past weekend, and set records with
the largest roster of all time and overall highest scores. This was
the most successful start in the PFLU, as wins go, we had 19 players
scoring 10 or more wins, as a whole, we scored an average a score of
9.18. We had 2 players start off this season on fire, General
Patton
started the week off going 1-3 in his first 4 games and then went on
a rampage winning his last 12 games in a row, including his lock and
upset. Trying to keep pace was Flip
Em the Byrd
who start off winning his first 6 out of 7 games including his lock
and upset. The whole week came down to the Stanford-Northwestern
game, with less than a minute to go in the game, Northwestern had the
ball on their own 22 yard line covering the spread, as long as
nothing happens Flip
Em
would have won the game and would have ended up winning the week,
instead Northwestern fumbles the ball in the end zone and Stanford
falls on it, to cover the game. This was not the only game to end
that a team covered in the last seconds, so times things go your way
and sometimes they don't. We had 7 players finish with 12 points and
they are Frank,
The Bulls Sackos, Coin Flip U, Pr1mo, Kato Bois, Kdog and Mama Dukes.
For those 4 rookies who
averaged 10 points, do not think that week 1 is any indication that
this will be an easy ride for you, we have not even pulled out of the
driveway, get ready for a long and bumpy ride.
